A Short Post About Movie Theaters
I will start off by saying that I worked in movie theater for about eight months. I worked in the concession stand, box office, fancy popcorn place, and this VIP section of the theater for guests who are older than nineteen and who pay for a little extra service. In my short time, I saw a lot of ridiculously rude behaviors. I could go on at length about how rude people can be to those who work in the service industry, how people try to skip lines ALL THE TIME, how impatient people can be, how lazy people can be, and a plethora of other things. Long story short: there are too many things for me to write about in a single blog post and I know for a fact that there are other blogs out there which are written by current employees of movie theaters.
So instead of repeating information which is already out there, I thought that I would provide you with a link to a nifty little comic from The Oatmeal (which I love) about the actual theater part of movie theaters. Here it is:
I know that this isn’t my usual style, but I’m trying to add a little more multi-media to this blog. This seems to me to be the best way!
I hope you enjoy the humour of this comic. Let me know what you think of it. Do you agree with the theater manners which it alludes to?
